TELEPATH RISO STUDIO
Telepath Studio offers printmaking using the spot color method of risography. Riso printers utilize sustainable, eco-friendly rice bran inks and thermal-printed stencils to produce vibrant, richly textured prints through an automated process akin to screenprinting. Each risograph print varies slightly in ink saturation and alignment, imbuing the artwork with a bespoke, handmade quality that belies its machine origins.
Telepath Studio uses a Riso MZ 790 dual-drum machine and a RZ 990 single-drum machine.
We currently stock 13 ink colors:
Black, Medium Blue, Aqua, Orchid (Medium Purple), Green, Hunter Green, Yellow, Sunflower, Orange, Bright Red, Fluorescent Pink, Flat Gold and Metallic Gold. Light Grey and Fluorescent Orange are coming in early 2021.
